Fender was orginally got a HD narrow front fork setup-aaprox 5" between-. I had a welder modify the brackets to fit my forks and then tried it out. It works great, no more road splash on the engine, up over the front of the tank, etc. It is now being painted to match my 96(yellow) and I hope to get it back on before a scheduled 400 mi RT ride. I was concerned because of some comments on this forum and review regarding stability. I couldn't tell the difference, may try modifying a new Suzuki 250 single fender over the winter, or try a different curved aftermarket fender for the HD. My kid brother used to same fender on his HD dyna-wide glide to replace the sport fender and the body guy had to do alot of detail work before he would paint it. I wanted to try the fiber glass/plastic ones, but my local shop said he had to return most of them. Maybe HIghway Hawk will come up with one if enough riders request it. Max
